Barracks Road Shopping Center is less than 2 miles from the
community. You will find a variety of shopping options, including Kroger, Harris Teeter, Barnes and Noble,
Michaels, CVS, Anne Taylor, Hallmark, Origins, Jos. A Banks, Chico's, Blue Ridge Mountain Sports, Rebecca's
Natural Foods and Bed Bath and Beyond.
Fashion Square Mall is less than 5 miles from the community. There you will find national department stores
such as Sears, Belk and J C Penney's as well as many other national specialty retailers. Fashion Square Mall
has a food court and Red Robin for a more traditional eating option.
Our Downtown pedestrian mall is also a short drive. There you will find many locally owned shopping and
dining options as well as an outdoor concert venue. The downtown mall also has outdoor vendors, weather
permitting.
If you are looking for local produce and hand made goods visit City Market, downtown in the Water Street
parking lot, Saturday mornings through October.
